Betty Fulgham Obituary

Betty Fulgham
Oct. 2, 1924-Sept. 16, 2014
Resident of Walnut Creek
Betty was born in Oakland and grew up in Berkeley where she graduated from Berkeley High School and attended Holy Names College. She later married Richard L. Fulgham, DDS and raised her family in Lafayette. Betty leaves behind her three children, Rich Fulgham, Ann Whiting and Nancy Phillips, their spouses and four grandchildren.
She spent many years volunteering to benefit the Mt. Diablo Therapy Center, the Lafayette Larks, Concord Lyons Club and Contra Costa Dental Society. Betty's favorite place throughout her life was always Lake Tahoe where she spent many carefree summers in her youth. She also loved to ski whenever she had the opportunity.
She had a great sense of style and enjoyed gardening, interior decorating, cooking and entertaining her family and many friends. She made everything more beautiful.
We extend a special thank you to the caregivers at Sunrise Assisted Living in Walnut Creek for their kindness and loving care to our Mother.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to your favorite charity.
