Bettie Beck Obituary
JACKSON, SC - Bettie Layne Beck, 82, beloved wife of Claude William Beck, Jr., died Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Pruitt Health, North Augusta, SC.
A native of Richmond, VA, Bettie was the daughter of the late Leslie and Mamie Layne. She was a homemaker, lived in Aiken from 1952 until 1959 and in Aiken County since 1959.
In addition to her husband, Bettie is survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6 until 8 PM at Shellhouse - Rivers Funeral Home, Aiken, SC.
The family will also receive friends Monday evening from 6 until 8 PM at Nelsen Funeral Home, Richmond, VA.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday morning at 11 AM from the graveside in Washington Memorial Park, Sandston, VA.
Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude's Hospital for Children, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
