WILLISTON, SC - Funeral Services for Bertie Lee Robinson Hartzog Amaker, 95 of Williston, SC will be held three pm Monday, June 1, 2015 in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Stephen Burnette officiating.
The family will receive friends from one-thirty until the time of the service on Monday at the funeral home in Williston and other times at the home of her daughter Barbara Porter. Burial will be at the Williston Cemetery.
The family has asked that memorials be given to the Williston Cemetery, P.O. Box 367, Williston, SC 29853.
Mrs. Amaker passed away Saturday, May 30, 2015.
Born in Bamberg County she was a daughter of the late Luther M. Robinson and Leila Chitty Robinson.
She was first married to the late Willie Leon Hartzog, Sr. and was the widow of Adam Amaker.
She retired from the Ameritron Corporation in Barnwell, SC and was a member of the Williston First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughters, Barbara Porter and Charlotte (Bruce) Beck all of Williston; grandchildren, Donna, Ann, Carol, Linda, Lisa, Allen, Danny, Gregg; great-grandchildren, Rhett, Mallory, Ray, Chris, Kellie, Brittni, Brandon, Kendra, Sarah, Daniel, Alex, Alena; great-great-grandchildren, Bryce, Baylee, Zoey, Emma and Tucker.
She was preceded in death by a son, Willie Leon Hartzog, Jr.; grandson, Corey; son-in-law, George Porter; grandson-in-law, Hugh Claytor; sisters, Doris Beard, Margaret Odom and Vonnie Odom.
Folk Funeral Home, Inc. and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
