Bertha Cummings Obituary
Aiken - Ms. Bertha 'Bert' Cummings, age 72, passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. A Celebration of her Life will be held 12 Noon Thursday, April 14, 2022 at Zion Fair Missionary Baptist Church, with Rev. Phillip Thomas, officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
Bertha was a 1967 graduate of Martha Schofield High School. She was employed with SRS until she retired after 22 years of service.
She leaves to cherish her many memories: four sisters, Estelle Simmons, Doris C. (Bruce) Turner, Earnestine C. (Hasting) Curry and Ruby C. (Ronald) Stallings one brother, Ernest (Gail) Cummings one other sister-in-law, Gladys P. Cummings three aunts, whom she adored and cherished, Viola Cummings, Eartha D. Patterson and Mary Patterson Faulk one special uncle, Leondrous Patterson a host of other relatives and friends.

To the family of Bert Cummings: I worked with Bert for a lot of years at SRS, and you will never find a sweeter soul than Bert! I absolutely loved being around her and feeding off her sweet spirit and caring attitude. Lots of great conversations, and always had positive thoughts and things to say about everyone.
