BENNY MOODY Obituary

MOODY, BENNY CARROLL - age 56, of Mascot, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 16, 2014. He was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church. Also, he was a member of Mascot Masonic F&AM #738, 32nd degree Shriner in Scottish Rite of Free Masonry, S.J., USA, Valley of Knoxville, Orient of Tennessee, and the Temple of Kerbela Shriners. Benny retired from GE Electric/TMSI. Benny was preceded in death by parents, Carroll (Dink) and Willie Mae Moody; and brothers, Glenn and Jerry Moody. He is survived by his fiancée and special friend, Charlotte Bruner; son, Ryan Moody; daughter, Lacy Moody; like a daughter, Michelle Abbas and husband Ray; dear friends from Florida; brother, Wayne Moody and wife Margaret; sister, Jo Ann Ramsey and husband Wayne; sister-in-law, Dottie Moody; and several nieces and nephews. Masonic service will be 7:00 p.m. Monday, October 20, 2014, with funeral service to follow with Rev. Leonard Goin and Eric Kiser officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:45 a.m. Tuesday at Indian Ridge Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. interment. Pallbearers: Mickey Kimbrough, Marshall Nicely, Roy Gibson, Mike Moody, Kent Smith, and Randall Suffridge.
