Beatrice Freeman Obituary

The Management and Staff of G. L. Brightharp & Sons announces the transition of Mrs. Beatrice Freeman who entered into rest September 3, 2025. Mrs. Freeman was a native of McCormick County and a member of Bethany Baptist Church where she served as President of the Senior Choir. Survivors include six sons, Claude Freeman, Robert Freeman, James (Theresa) Freeman, Ernest Freeman, Michael (Artrina) Freeman and Bernard Freeman; four daughters, Hattie Freeman, Linda (Rev. Melvin) Ivey, Juanita (Rodney) Cumberbatch and Tycia Jones; 21 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at Bethany Baptist Church with the Rev. Russell Brisco officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Monday at the funeral home. Professional Services are under the care of G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary-North Augusta.
