Barbara Werts Obituary
NORTH AUGUSTA, SC - Mrs. Barbara Morris Werts, 82, wife of Hubert "Buddy" Werts, entered into rest on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at National Health Care.
Her funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, March 1, 2014 in the Chapel of Rowland Funeral Home with Dr. Randy Cooper officiating. Interment will follow in Pineview Memorial Park.
Mrs. Werts was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. She was a devoted wife for 64 years and a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She graduated from Newberry High School and retired as the bookkeeper for Werts Equipment Rental Company.
Additional survivors include one son, Buddy Rhett Werts; one daughter, Tracy Weldon and her husband Danny, all of North Augusta, SC; two grandchildren, Erin Bryant and her husband James, and Katie Weldon; one great grandchild, John Thomas "Tommy".
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, February 28, 2014 from 5 to 7 PM.
Memorials may be made to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 1002 Carolina Avenue, North Augusta, SC 29841.
