Aiken – BARBARA PRYOR MOYER-HOLTON, 59, beloved wife of David R. Holton, passed away Monday, September 13, 2021 at Prisma Health Baptist Hospital in Columbia.
A native of Sylvania, GA, Barbara was a daughter of the late William R. and Waltraud "Trudy" Fuchs Pryor. Her family moved to Aiken in 1969 and she graduated from Aiken High School. She retired from UGA Savannah River Ecology Lab.
Survivors include her husband, David; her son, Jesse Moyer (Maxine Holst); her daughter, Dawn Moyer Oxford (Brandon), all of Aiken; two sisters, Linda Pryor, Anderson, SC, Dianne Turnbull, Aiken; a brother, Richard Pryor, Aiken. In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her first husband, Alan Moyer.
A private service will be held at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Aiken Cat Alliance, P.O. Box 6664, Aiken, SC 29804.
