Barbara Lynn Obituary
SUMMERFIELD, NC - Barbara Elizabeth Woodward Johnson Lynn, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2024 at 93 years old. She was born to Ben H. Woodward and Clyde E. Creech Woodward on February 9, 1931 in Williston, SC. They moved and she was raised in Montmorenci, SC.
She was a member of Belvedere Baptist Church. She worked a Bankers Trust in charge of the Installment Loan Department in Aiken until she retired. She was an excellent cook and loved to prepare delicious food for friends and big family gatherings. She never met a stranger!
She left behind one brother, Dr. Ben E. Woodward, Retired (Peggy), Columbus, NC; one nephew, Bennett Woodward; one great grand-nephew, and one grand-niece; two daughters Janis Johnson Baughman, Aiken, SC and Carolyn Johnson Runyon (Gary), Summerfield, NC; four grandsons, 19 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at Montmorenci Baptist Church at a later date. No flowers. Please contribute to Alzheimer's Research. Friends may contact the family through Carolyn Johnson Runyon at 336-210-6652.
