Barbara Crow Hallford
AIKEN, SC - Barbara Crow Hallford, 70, beloved wife of Robert L. "Bob" Hallford, died Sunday, February 22, 2015 at Pepper Hill Nursing Center.
A native of Spartanburg, SC, Barbara was a daughter of The Reverend Dr. Raymond and Odessa Dalton Crow. She lived in Aiken since the 1970's and worked at J. B. White's for 24 years and Dillard's for 3 years. She then worked part-time at the Whiskey Road Branch of Security Federal Bank. Barbara was a member of Millbrook Baptist Church. She loved the Grand Ole Gospel Reunion held annually in Greenville, SC and attended 24 consecutive years.
Survivors, in addition to her husband and parents, include a daughter, Michele C. Shackford (David J.), Aiken; a son, Jeff Hallford (Bhanu), Knoxville, TN; four grandchildren, Kristen Cook, Sean Cook, Brantley Hallford, Jared Hallford; three brothers, Ray Crow (Judy), Shelby, NC, Mike Crow (Linda), Springfield, AR, Tom Crow (Cathy) Aiken.
The family will receive friends at Shellhouse - Rivers Funeral Home Thursday beginning at 1 o'clock in the afternoon followed by the funeral service at 2 o'clock with The Rev, Dr. Chris Masters officiating. Interment will follow in Bethany Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Shackford, Sean Cook, Millard Howington, Larry McClain, Don Gibson and Joe DeHart.

As you know her smile was as big and as bright as the sun, and it warmed your heart when her sparkling eyes met yours and you knew her smile was directed to you.
