Barbara Daniel Obituary
AIKEN, SC - Barbara Jean Daniel, age 77, passed away Sunday, November 22, 2015.
Mrs. Daniel was born in Suitland, Maryland to the late Burton and Bessie Shadoan Walthall. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Albert C. Daniel. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Brian Madden of Warrenville, SC; a son, Albert Daniel, Jr and his wife, Sherry; two grandsons, Zach and Max Madden and a grand-daughter, Julia Daniel.
Mrs. Daniel had made Aiken, SC her home since 1985 and was a member of Town Creek Baptist Church.
A graveside service will be held in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Suitland, Maryland where she will be buried alongside her late husband under the direction of Joseph Gawler's Sons Funeral Home, Washington, DC on December 26, 2015 at 1:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Town Creek Baptist Church, 250 Town Creek Rd., Aiken, SC 29803 or the Marine Corps Relief Society, 875 N. Randolph St. Ste 225, Arlington, VA 22203 in the name of the fallen servicemen.
The Historic George Funeral Home, 211 Park Ave., SW, Aiken, SC 29801 (803.649.6234) is assisting with local arrangements.
