Barbara Colley Obituary

North Augusta, SC – Mrs. Barbara "Judy" Colley, 86, entered into rest May 20, 2025. Memorial Services will be conducted Friday afternoon, May 23rd, at 2 o'clock in the Posey Funeral Chapel with Rev. John Meyer officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service from 1 until 2 o'clock. A private interment will be held in All Saints Anglican Church Cemetery at a later date. Judy was born July 27, 1938, to the late George Edward Smith and Opal Dane McCurry Smith. She was a lifelong resident of North Augusta and retired as a Medical Records Technician at Doctors Hospital with 23 years of service. Judy was a member of the Trenton Garden Club and an active member of Warren Belvedere, where she was a member of the Victory Life Group, formerly known as the Azell Mundy Sunday School Class. In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Fredrick L. Colley; a son, Wade Key, Jr.; two brothers, David Smith and Buck Smith. Surviving family members include her children, Tim Key (Susan), Kim Shepherd, Jeff Key (Hillary), and Michael Colley; her siblings, Sandy Smith, Paul Smith, Dan Smith, Patti Barretta, and Becky Williams; ten grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
