GRANITEVILLE, SC - Mrs. Barbara E. Burroughs, 82, wife of the late Mr. Robert B. Burroughs, entered into rest on Friday, August 5th, 2016.
Born in and a lifelong resident of Aiken County, SC, she was a daughter of the late Eulie and Lulu Ferguson Wilson. She retired from Clearwater Finishing Plant and was a member of Breezy Hill Baptist Church. Mrs. Burroughs enjoyed flowers, spending time with her grands and was an excellent cook.
In addition to her husband and parents, family members include her children, Robbie Burroughs and his wife, Marie, Clearwater, SC, Nancy Rogers and her husband, Sonny, Graniteville, SC and Damien Burroughs and his wife, Catherine, North Augusta, SC; brother, Eddie Wilson, Clearwater, SC; special niece, Mary Ann Gigis, Charleston, SC; special nephew, Bobby Ivey, Beech Island, SC; grandchildren, Dana Wood, Rodney Burroughs and his wife, Jackie, Trey Rogers and his wife, Tabitha, Denise Rogers and her fiance;, Ben Ashley, Shanna Swearingen and her husband, Garrett, Brianna Burroughs, Brooke Cato, Sean Cato and his wife, Tanya and Tammy Moss and her husband, Barry, twenty-three great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
The family will greet friends on Tuesday, August 9th, 2016, from 6 until 8 o'clock at Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 3464 Jefferson Davis Hwy., Graniteville, SC.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 10th, 2016, at 10 o'clock in the Historic Graniteville Cemetery, Graniteville, SC.
Pallbearers will be Trey Rogers, Rodney Burroughs, Christian Wood, Brandon Young, Ben Ashley and Sean Cato.
