Austin Bozarth Obituary

North Augusta, SC – Austin Michael Bozarth, 20, entered into rest August 1, 2025. A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted on Saturday afternoon, August 9th, at 2 o'clock in the Posey Funeral Chapel with Pastor Edward Hardee officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service from 1 until 2 o'clock. Austin was born October 12th, 2004, and was a lifelong resident of North Augusta, SC. Throughout his life he overcame many hurdles and cultivated a spirit of resilience as he conquered each one. With love, patience and guidance from so many, he learned to talk, read, write, and love. Austin proudly graduated high school from Connections Academy in Columbia, SC. He was known to be very tech savvy and enjoyed working on computers. Austin had a humble heart, an honest nature, and an appreciation for the simple things in life. He had a dry wit and often brought smiles to those around him. Austin was always full of surprises and will be fondly remembered for the nicknames he gave to everyone he loved. He was truly a blessing to all who knew him. Austin was preceded in death by his parents Andrea Bozarth and Jack Kimbrell II; his paternal grandfather, Jack Kimbrell; his maternal grandparents, William Anthony Bozarth and Jolynn Bozarth; and his aunt, Andee Lynn Miller. Following the death of his parents, Austin's great-aunt and great-uncle, Kim and Danny Vaughn, became his chosen mother and father. Together, they gave Austin the love, guidance, and patience needed for him to thrive. Other family members left to cherish Austin's memory include his siblings, Jessica Miles, Tiffany Vaughn, and Jaelyn Miles; cousins, Savannah Luke and April Miller; his paternal grandmother, Jane Kimbrell; and a host aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Austin's family would like to express immense gratitude to everyone; family, friends, acquaintances, medical staff, doctors, and all who rallied to their aid and supported Austin and their family throughout the years.
