Asa Harrison Obituary

G. L. Brightharp & Sons announces the transition of Mr. Asa W. Harrison who entered into rest October 9, 2025. A native of Edgefield County, he attended the Edgefield County Public School System. He retired as a Printer from W. C. Printing Company in New York. Survivors include a daughter, Tijuana M. Green; a brother, Glenn Harrison; four sisters, Minnie "Esther" Wright, Pauline Harrison, Paulette Shaw and Gail (Abner) Thomas; grandchildren, Torkwase Green Charisma Green and Kamila Johnson; a great grandchild, Saniya Larry; one aunt, Rev. Amie C. Mathis; a host other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, October 18, 2025 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church where the Rev. Oscar W. Brown is pastor and the Rev. Eric Pressley eulogist. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm Friday at the funeral home. Professional Services are under the care of G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary-North Augusta.
