Antoinette Brunson Obituary

North Augusta, SC-Funeral Services for Mrs. Antoinette "Toni" Bell Brunson, 59, who entered into rest August 5, 2025, will be conducted Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Posey Funeral Chapel. Rev. Seth DuVall officiating. Internment will follow in Pineview Memorial Gardens with Rev. Steven Drawdy officiating. Mrs. Brunson was a life-long resident of North Augusta and a founding member of Cornerstone Community Church, now New Life of North Augusta. She was devoted to her faith and served as the Women's Ministry President, Children Ministry Director, Church Board Member and in various other capacities. Mrs. Brunson loved her family and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother (Nana) and Aunt who loved nothing more than spending time with her family. Her beautiful heart could be seen and felt all the time, even during times of trial and sickness she cared more for others than herself. She enjoyed going to the beach, yard and estate sales, reading and watching mystery shows, being the peacekeeper among her sisters and most of all being Nana to her loving grandchildren. As she dealt with her illness, she truly fought the good fight and continued to be a pillar of faith to her family and others. Just hours before her death, Mrs. Brunson was blessed to become a new grandmother, truly an angel came, and an angel left. Survivors include her husband of 35 years, David J. Brunson, Jr.; four children, David and Allison Brunson, Dewey and Brittany Brunson, Amy and Seth DuVall and Dylan and Lauren Brunson; five sisters, Terri and Tony Burckhalter, Kim and Kenny Templeton, Tina Craig (late Kelly Craig), Tonya Hargrove and Tara and Bill Street; eight grandchildren, Caroline Grace Brunson, Jackson Brunson, Charlotte Brunson, Braiden Brunson, Brooks Brunson, Braxton Brunson, Goldie DuVall, and Dalton Brunson. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Saturday afternoon from 4 until 6. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Jeremy Wells, Dr. Ankur Goelle and Nurse Rebecca Fuller for the compassionate care.
