Anthony Brown Obituary

Anthony Bernard Brown a.k.a. "Possum" was born in Aiken, SC. Possum was one of a kind. He loved to work outdoors until his health started to decline. He loved watching football and cooking. He was a Class of '89 graduate of Aiken High School. He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Jean Brown, and brother, Walter Brown. He is survived by his father's Alexander Williams and William Garris, both of Aiken, SC, a daughter, Tyashia Brown, a son, A.J. Holmes, two sisters, Anne (Lamont) Burch, Trina (Kahileo) Wheeler, both of Aiken, SC, and three brothers Johnny Taylor, Joseph Williams, and Daryl Wright. He loved and cherished his nieces and nephews, Brittany Griffin, Landynn Savage, Layton Doby, Travis Taylor, Tyrese Taylor, and Tyron Jordan, all of Aiken, SC. He also leaves behind one aunt, Janice Williams, a devoted uncle that helped raise him, Michael Brown, Wayne Williams, and Daryl Glover. He will always be loved by a host of cousins and friends.
