I'm just thinking about you. I miss you so much! I am finding myself wanting to talk to you everyday right now. We are remodeling our house and I'm such a little girl wanting to consult her daddy that knows about these things.. I wish I could just hug your neck and tell you the list of things I wish I would have said and done differently while you were sick. I love you. See you as soon as he lets me.

Red was a happy, fun loving man who will always be remembered by me first when I asked him "why do you always carry that bucket around? ..and he responded "thata way I always look like I am working. See I have a hammer too." He joked often that he was not doing anything, but he really was a very hard working man. He always had a joke or a tale to tell and was so upbeat. I am so sorry to hear of his death and pray his family finds peace because now he truly has found it himself. He loved life and he lived life. What more can be said? Rest in peace, my friend.

My Daddy can never be replaced. He touched the lives of so many people, I can't count. He was always able to bring a smile to our faces when in the darkest times. I'm so grateful for the last few years that he came home to be with my mom and spent so much time us and with his grandsons. We had the chance to be a real family for the first time in a long time. I can't believe that it all ended so quickly. No one can ever really prepare to lose a parent, but I will do my best to move on. I'm not sure what will happen when I need him and he's not just a phone call away.. I'm not sure what will happen when my baby sees a jeep and yells "pappy!" And demands to go see him. I'm not sure now who will teach my oldest son to ride his first Harley or play the guitar and I'm not sure who will teach my middle son every single corny joke that the world has ever known, but I do know that we'll do our best to get a long in a place that lost a piece of what made it fun to be here. The world has changed, but so has heaven. What a celebration party it must be! I'm honored to be able to say that Anson Harding is my daddy. And we loved each other and I'm proud to share him with Jesus for a while, until we meet again. I love you Daddy! I hope you know how much!
