Annie Mae Roberson
AIKEN - Annie Mae Ford Roberson was born on January 18, 1945, to the late Willie (Sun) Ford and Bertha Lee Houston Ford. At an early age, Annie joined the Ebenezer Baptist Church in Williston, SC, where she served faithfully until she joined her husband at Zion Fair Missionary Baptist Church where she served as a deaconess, choir member and on the kitchen
ministry. She was educated at Guinyard Butler High School. She then began her vocational career at Seminole Mill in Graniteville, SC. She then became employed at Pepperidge Farm Industrial Mill. She later worked at Head Start in Graniteville, SC, where she retired after 12 years of service.
She married her soulmate and love of her life, Napoleon Roberson, Jr in 1971.
She entered eternal life, Friday, March 8, 2024, at home.

Brothers (3): Willie Ford, Jr., Philadelphia, PA; Ulysses Ford Willison, SC; Wayne (Doris) Beard, Blackville, SC; Sisters-in law (3): Sarah Danforth, Aiken, SC; Earlean (Clio) Graham, Piscataway, NJ; Shelia (Robert) Johnson, Augusta, GA; Brothers-in-law (3): Artis Roberson, Beech Island, SC; Tiney (Yvonne) Roberson, Orlando, FL. and Alex Smith, Aiken, SC; Grandchildren (7): Jamal Roberson, Oxon Hill, MD; Devin Roberson, Augusta, GA; Daniel Roberson, Atlanta, GA; Keiona Whitmore, Augusta, GA; Cameron Roberson, Augusta, GA; Ayden and Alyssa Roberson, Augusta, GA. She also leaves a host of nephews, nieces, sorrowing friends, and relatives.
The viewing will be Friday, March 15, 2024, at the Jackson Brooks Chapel in New Ellenton, SC from 3-7 PM. Funeral services will be held 12 noon on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at Zion Fair Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Phillip Thomas, officiating. (Viewing 11-12 PM) Burial will follow in church cemetery.
