AIKEN - Mrs. Anna Riggs Bruce, age 76, loving wife to Lee Roy Bruce, Sr. and daughter of the late Alvin Riggs and the late Dovie Ree Yaun Riggs, entered into eternal rest on Friday, June 8, 2018. In addition to her husband of 48 years, she is survived by daughters, Sheila Winburn of Langley, S.C. and Regina (Gene) Kirkland of Augusta, Ga.; sons, Kenneth (Leighann) Williams of Trenton, S.C. and Lee Roy Bruce, Jr. of Augusta, Ga.; brothers, Edgar (Mary) Riggs of Evans, Ga. and Chester Riggs of Trenton, S.C., six grandchildren; Jeffrey Williams, Allen Winburn, Christopher Howard, Ryan Howard, Ashley Bruce and Khristy Bruce and a number of great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brothers, Roger Dale and Danny Riggs. She was born in Vaucluse, S.C. and was a lifelong resident of Aiken County. She was of the Pentecostal Faith. She loved her family with all her heart; and next to her family, came her love for Nascar. Her favorite race car drivers were Dale Earnhardt, Jr. and Dale Earnhardt, Sr. Her favorite pastime included playing softball, camping and fishing. She was also an avid Gamecock Fan. She retired from Owens-Corning Fiberglas with over 30 years of service. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother, who shall be greatly missed by her family and all whose lives she touched during the 76 years that God granted her on this earth. Death cannot destroy precious memories, and she shall live on forever in the hearts of her friends and loved ones. A service, celebrating her life and homegoing, will be held in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home on Monday, June 11, 2018 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Clint Jackson officiating. The interment will follow at the Historical Graniteville Cemetery. Her nephews will serve as Pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
