Albert Turner Obituary

G. L. Brightharp & Sons announces the transition of Mr. Albert Turner, Jr., who entered into rest October 15, 2025. Mr. Turner was a retired Plumber for the UA Local Union No. 1 Plumbers of New York City. He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, Edgefield where he served on the Deacons Ministry and Male Chorus Ministry. Survivors include two sons, Albert (Giselle) Turner, III and Dwayne Edward (Robbin) Turner; six daughters, Valeria (Leon) McDuffie Jones, Ophelia Turner-Shand, Cheryl Mobley, Wanda Turner, LaVerne Turner and Tameika Turner-Haynes; three brothers, Jessie Lovett, Yancey (Josephine) Mance and Isaac (Margaret) Mance; sixteen grand children, five great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, October 24, 2025 at Bethlehem Baptist Church, Edgefield with the Rev. Dr. Craig Beasley officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm until 6:30 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Professional Services are under the care of G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary-North Augusta.
