JOHN WILLIAM "BULLDOSER" MADEIROS, age 85, of Shelbyville, TN., passed peacefully from this life on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at Vanderbilt-Bedford Hospital.William was born on February 5, 1940, in Paget, Bermuda to the late Anthony and Thelma Adelle Smith Madeiros. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Ann Moniz Madeiros, with whom he shared forty-two years of marriage; his second wife, Marie Yoes Lane Madeiros; his sister, Joan Pimentel and his brother-in-law, David Mello.He is survived by his son, Mark Andrew of Canada; sisters: Sharon Mello and Linda Madeiros, both of Bermuda; brother-in-law Fred Pimental of Shelbyville and Bermuda. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Cole William and Dain Markus Madeiros; nephews: Wayne Pimentel, Scott and Robert Lopes, Brian, Douglas and Colin Mello.There will be a graveside burial of ashes service at St. Mark's Church Cemetery on Thursday April 2nd, 2026, at 2p.m., followed by a celebration of life gathering at The MARINERS Club from 3-5 p.m. Family and friends are welcome.AMIS Memorial Chapel & Crematory
