Joseph John Michel Goose Creek - Joseph John Michel, 79, of Houma, Louisiana, born to the late Paul and Lucy Michel, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 3, 2021. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Joyce Strobel Michel; daughter, Dedria (John) Kinsman; grandsons, John Paul, Eian, and Jonah Kinsman; two great-grandsons, Elijah and Josiah Kinsman. Joe was retired from Sup Ship Charleston and later from Sears. He, along with his wife, owned We-R-Kids in Goose Creek. Joe was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. He will be truly missed. A visitation will be held on December 7, 2021, at 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Carolina Memorial Funerals & Cremation, 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29406. The service will be 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Carolina Memorial Funerals & Cremation, with the burial to follow at Carolina Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to: Charleston First Church of the Nazarene, 1055 Yeamans Hall Road, Hanahan, SC 29410.
