Vera Davis Obituary

My dear Aunt Vera:

Vera drove us to elementary school for eight years and was actually my second grade teacher.

After school, she played the piano and sang songs with us, read to us, and recited poetry. She was instrumental to my love of reading.

Vera also carried us to piano lessons and dentist's visits.

Vera transported me on my first airplane ride, treated me to my first dinner theater show, and had me visit her in Washington, DC, where she took us to the zoo and museums, and in Augusta, GA, where we visited Six Flags. She was the fun aunt!

I loved my special aunt/friend, Vera, very much! She really showed me that she loved me too! She will be missed, but warmly remembered.

Well done, good and faithful servant, thou has been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of the Lord. We will miss you so much! Take your Heavenly Rest.

To the Family of Vera Davis:
Heaven has really gained an angel. Vera and I go way back. I considered her my best friend. We were like two peas in a pod. We went on trips together and had lots of fun. You will be missed my dear friend. Rest easy I love you but God loved you best.
