Shirley Keim Lowe, of Gruver passed away on Thursday, August 11,2022 in Spearman. A memorial service will be on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at the Gruver United Methodist Church at 11:00a.m. with Rev. Donald Ward officiating and J.W. Ward assisting. Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Spearman.
Shirley was born in Waka, Texas on April 4, 1934 to Jake and Ethel Fuller Keim. She married George " Bud" Lowe on February 1, 1953 in Perryton, Texas. They had two sons, Buddy and Randy. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Gruver. Shirley loved to sing and she loved music. She was a very loving mother and grandmother and great-grandmother. Shirley sang at 356 weddings and funerals during her lifetime. Shirley was a very sweet and loving person.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Bud Lowe, brother, J.J. Keim and sister, Billie Hickman.
Shirley is survived by her two sons, Buddy and wife Marsha Lowe and Randy Lowe of Gruver. Three granddaughters, Cori and Chip Cox of Ft. Worth, Shea and Matt Richter of Houston and Aaron and Bryn Weller of Gruver, 6 great-grandchildren and 6 nieces and nephews and many friends.
The family would like to thank the Drs. nurses, and staff at the Hansford Manor for their excellent care.
Family suggests memorials to Hansford Hospice and Hansford Manor at 707 Roland, Spearman, TX. 79081.
