Sandra Zepeda Obituary

After a courageous battle with cancer at home in Palmdale, California, Sandra Zepeda-Contreras, age 51, passed away on April 4, 2022. Sandra ascended to heaven surrounded by her loved ones, who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to their fullest.

On March 2, 1971, Sandra was born to Joe & Alicia Zepeda. She was a 1989 Graduate of Ramona Convent Secondary School and attended Humboldt State University with a major in Spanish. Sandra pursued a career in Human Resources, working for the Palmdale School District for 22 years. Sandra met the love of her life, Robert Contreras, in 1999 and had two beautiful children, Sofia, 15 years and Andrew, 10 years.

Sandra spent some of her happiest moments in life sitting on the sidelines of her children’s soccer games, attending rock concerts with Robert, and keeping in touch with friends. Sandra’s quick-witted sense of humor, beautiful smile, and infectious laughter made her the life of the party. Our rich memories of Sandra will be cherished forever in our hearts.

Sandra’s faith in God and dedication to her mother, children, and husband were signs of Sandra’s grace and dignity.

Sandra is survived by several siblings, a niece, nephews, cousins, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her dear father, brother, and grandmother.
