SANDRA DAVENPORT Obituary

Sandra LaReau Davenport, lovingly called “Sam”, was born in Chicago, Illinois on June 2, 1951, to Tony and Rosetta Green. She was the third of four children.

Sandra was member of Woodlawn A.M.E. Church.

Sandra graduated from Parker High School in Chicago and attended Loop College and Chicago State University.  She was employed by Chicago State University until retirement with thirty-three years of service.

Sandra’s favorite hobbies were cooking and gardening.

Sandra is preceded in death by her parents, Tony and Rosetta Green; brother, Tony Jr. and daughter, Antionette.

Sandra leaves to cherish her memory husband, Michael; sister, Eleanor; brother, Irvin; nieces: Stacey and Claire; one great nephew and three great nieces; brothers-in-law, Thatchus and Reginald and a host of other relatives and many friends.  

She was loved and will be dearly missed.
