We bought the land and built a house on that land that we still own today from Jim and Ruth back in 1996. They were the best neighbors that we've ever had. We missed them with Jim passed and Ruth moved away. Ruth always made us extra baked goodies when she was making them for themselves. Our girls played board games and croquet with Jim and Ruth, and Ruth taught my girls how to make blueberry dumplings. We helped Ruth pick apples from their apple tree and Ruth would always share her homemade apple pies with us. Just very friendly, helpful, thoughtful people. It was a pleasure knowing them both.

We became friends while visiting friends in Florida. We enjoyed playing euchre with Jim and Ruth. Ruth was a wonderful hostess making us feel at home, and she was a great cook. She will be missed by her family and friends.
