Rose Elrod Obituary

Rose Annie Elrod passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at her home in Osceola, Arkansas, at the age of 86. She was born on April 22, 1939, in Heber Springs, Arkansas to Roscoe Davis and Susie Ann Clayton Davis. She is preceded in death by her husband Earnest Elrod, her parents Roscoe and Susie Davis, two sons Jerry Elrod and Charles Elrod, two daughters Susan Kimery and Betty Hice and one brother Charles Davis. Rose is survived by four daughters Judy Jennings of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, Norma Jane “Tiny” Truelove of Lepanto, Arkansas, Tammy Hamm of Luxora, Arkansas and Jennifer Hall of Luxora, Arkansas, one sister Janie Evans of Florida, her best friend and namesake Sidney Rose Hall and a host of other family and friends. Visitation will be held Friday, March 27, 2026, from 12:00p.m. to 2:00p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola, Arkansas. Funeral service will be held Friday, March 27, 2026, at 2:00p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola, Arkansas. Interment will follow at Garden Point Cemetery in Etowah, Arkansas. Arrangements are under the care of Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola, Arkansas.
