Pantelis "Paul" Kolaris Obituary

Pantelis C. Kolaris, better known as Paul, passed away, surrounded by his loving family, on Monday, July 11, 2022 at the age of 89.

Born and raised in Greece, Paul moved to Levittown at the age of 27. After coming to the states, he started his career in the food service industry as a dishwasher and worked his way up to owning and operating Walt's Restaurant in Hatboro along side of his brother, Alex, for over 30 years.

He loved gardening, cooking, and especially spending time with his family. He was generous, caring, affectionate and funny.

Mr. Kolaris is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth P. Lyden (Daniel); daughter-in-law, Judith Kolaris; and grandchildren, Marissa, Christopher, Meadow, Larry and Autumn; his great grandson, Aiden; and sibings, Bill Kolaris (Voula) and Helen Roides (Mike).

He will also be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Paul is predeceased by his beloved wife of 52 years, Rose Kolaris; beloved son, Christos Kolaris; brother, Alex; and sister, Evangalia.

Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, July 18, 2022, from 9:30 until 11:00 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA 19056, where his funeral service will be held at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham.
