We lost a beautiful soul this past Thursday, my grandma. She was always there for me and my sister. When we were little we used to sneak and call her to come pick us up when we were in trouble with our parents. She never failed to come pick us up and drive us around or take us for an ice cream before taking us back home. We spent a lot of weekends with our grandparents and grandma was not afraid to get on the floor (or in my case, in the ditch) to play with us. Even as adults, she always supported us when we needed help. Especially if we needed a chocolate chip cookie fix! She will forever be in our hearts.

Nell enjoyed remembering our young teenage years when we attended Westley Methodist Church. Her favorite was when we (Nell, her sister, my sister and I) were called into the pastor’s study for talking too much during church. The memory would always make her laugh. I will miss her.
