Nathaniel Brooks entered into eternal rest on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Memorial Hermann General Hospital in Houston, TX.

Beloved husband of Adrienne Massey Brooks. Father of Margie Williams and Wilbert Rickey Williams. Son of the late Nat and Sarah Jacob Brooks. Grandson of the late Etienne and Celeste Brooks, Cajan and Lizzie Jacob. Brother of Celeste Ruffin and the late Willie, Robert, Nat, Etienne, Elizabeth, and Sarah Brooks, and Mary Crawford, also survived by 4 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, 48 step grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Age: 83 years a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Houston, TX.

Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Mt. Olive Baptist Church Algiers and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Davis Mortuary Service 230 Monroe St. Gretna, LA on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 10:00a.m.

Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the parlor.

Interment: Woodlawn Park Memorial Cemetery-Westwego, LA
