Murray Potts, Jr. Obituary
Murray Franklin Potts, Jr. passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, in Midland. He was born on September 8, 1952, to Murray Franklin Potts Sr., and Viola (Triggo) Potts.
He is survived by his daughter, Kayla Potts Taylor and husband Ross; son, Cody Potts; grandchildren, Jordan Lovely, Colton Taylor and Jody Taylor; and sister, Valerie Steele and husband Donnie.
Murray was preceded in death by his parents, Murray and Viola Potts.
Services for Murray start with a visitation on Monday, August 15, 2022, at Hurley Funeral Home, Pleasanton, from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with a graveside service on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at San Miguel Cemetery in Cross.

Kayla I’m so very sorry, Murray was always good to me and my boys! We had lots of long talks and I loved hearing his stories! He was great at making things with leather and ropesI still use one of the halters he made for me. My deepest condolences to you and your family. May God give you peace. Murray was a good man and friend. He was a good truck driver and we had some great times back in the 70's hauling cattle. He kept in touch by phone and facebook over the years. We will miss him! Lee and Arlene Wheeler

It really came as a shock to hear about Murray passing away suddenly. Murray will be missed a great deal. It seems just like yesterday we were have fun and talking about old times at our class reunion. Murray was a really great friend, seems he was always making a joke or cutting up.
