                        9:30 - 11:00 a.m.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 21, 2022, at the First Baptist Church of Beaumont, for Mrs. Emily Jane Penton Harrington, age 62, of Beaumont.  Mrs. Harrington passed from this life on January 18, 2022 at Asbury Hospice House in Hattiesburg.  Bro. Jason Powell will officiate the service with burial following at Beaumont Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Buck Penton, Curly Penton, Phillip Penton, Mitch Wells, Scott Dearman, and Shane Knight.

Mrs. Harrington was preceded in death by her parents, H.J. and Lillian Penton; and brother, Jackie Penton.

She is survived by her sons, Paul Woods of Beaumont and Curtis Woods of Neely; grandchildren, Ethan Woods and Alex Woods; brothers, Wayne Penton, Wendell Penton, and Sam Penton, all of Beaumont; sisters, Jamie Chambliss, Rachel Cascio, and Carol Daughdrill, all of Beaumont; and step mother S.M. Penton of Beaumont.

Mrs. Harrington was very active in the First Baptist Church of Beaumont, having served as secretary and music leader.  She worked in the newspaper business for over 20 years as a graphic artist and typesetter.

Visitation will be Friday from 9:30 - 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Beaumont.
