Mr. Fredrick L. Cross Obituary

Mr. Fredrick L. Cross of 1216 Spring Lane, East, Cordele, Georgia died Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at the Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele, Georgia.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 2:30 PM at the J. W. Williams Funeral Home Porte Cochere in Cordele, Georgia.  The burial will follow at the Pleasant Hill Church Cemetery in Cordele, Georgia.  Everyone in attendance is asked to please wear a mask and to practice social distancing.

Fredrick L. Cross was born June 14, 1976 in Crisp County, Georgia.  He was welcomed to this world by his parents, Mr. J. C. Paul and the late Ms. Susie Mae Cross. 

He was educated in the public school system.  He enjoyed spending time with his family.  There was never a dull moment whenever he was near.

He was truly a “jack of all trades” who could always find something to do.

On Tuesday, May 31, 2022 he transitioned from this life to life eternal.  He is also preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. Tobbie Cross, Mr. Walter Paul, Mrs. Cathy C. Carter, and Mrs. Rosie Paul.

He leaves cherished memories to his beloved and caring family, his children, Ms. Audrana Cobb, Mr. Willie Pickens, and Mr. Algenon Cobb all of Cordele, Georgia; nine grandchildren; his father, Mr. J. C. Paul of Cordele, Georgia; his sisters, Ms. Deidra (Rongie) Cross of Birmingham, Alabama, Ms. Meidra Felton of Cordele, Georgia, Ms. Marlena (Daniel) Cross of Douglasville, Georgia, and Ms. Tonya (David) Cross of Lilly, Georgia; his brother, Mr. Damion (Keisha) Cross of Americus, Georgia; his aunts and uncles, Mrs. Edna (Joe) Parker, Mr. Willie Lee Cross, and Mr. Tobbie Lee Cross all of Vienna, Georgia, Mrs. Eva Mae Wellons, Mrs. Geraldine Butts, Mrs. Mary (Governor) Arnold, Mrs. Martha (Aaron) Williams, Ms. Annette (Willie) Putman, Ms. Dorothy Paul, Mr. Willie (Cassandra) Weldon, Mrs. Martha (Sammy) McKenzie, and Ms. Mary Williams all of Cordele, Georgia, Mr. Henry Carter of Hatley, Georgia; a host of cousins, to include, Ms. Doris Lewis, Ms. Nettie Carter, Ms. Latisha Cross, Ms. Carlena Cross, Ms. Mattie Cross, Ms. Dorothy Cross, and Mr. Antavious Williams all of Cordele, Georgia, and Mr. Kasey Cross of Atlanta, Georgia, Gregory and Adrean.
