Michael Daniel Eiermann, 68 years old, went to be with the Lord on June 22, 2022 while in the arms of his loving wife and surrounded by his family. He was born to Harold “Skeets” and Audrey Rose Eiermann on December 3, 1953 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Mike graduated from East Jefferson High School and attended Delgado College. On October 16, 1969, the sweetest day of the year, he met the love of his life, Carol, at the young age of 16 and married on June 2, 1973 – the same year he began his career that he held onto for the rest of his life.
Mike and Carol’s true love story was one like no other. Their adventures began in New Orleans when they purchased their first home and welcomed their first child, Dawn Marie, in 1976. Mike was advancing in his career when their next adventure took them to Baton Rouge, Louisiana where they welcomed their son, Travis Daniel, in 1979. Their family of four was complete, and they continued to build a beautiful life together.
Mike’s real passion in life came from the love, joy, and happiness shared with his caring and devoted wife, children, son and daughter-in-law, and grandchildren. Throughout his life Mike could often be found on a tennis court with his buddies, boiling crawfish for family and friends, throwing parties, tearing it up on the dance floor, crying during a good movie, vacationing, and routinely working long hours but always enjoying life to its fullest. Mike always put others first - a true gentleman - kind, loving and caring for all. Above all else, Mike was inspirational and strong in his faith in God, true to his values, and loyal and honest in every facet of life.
Though Mike loved all holidays, Thanksgiving was his favorite as he cherished the opportunity to recognize the blessings in his life. He was always so thankful and grateful to spend time with the loved ones around him including his family and many friends.
Becoming a Paw Paw was the greatest joy of his life. Mike absolutely loved watching his grandchildren play sports, rarely missing a game or even a practice for that matter; however, his favorite times were mornings spent just quietly chatting with them on the patio listening to the birds. He loved his grandchildren with every fiber of his being and there was never a doubt that they were his whole world.
Mike and Carol enjoyed traveling, dancing in the kitchen, spending time with their friends and family, and truly living every moment of their lives together as if it were a chapter in a love story. He called Carol his treasure and was always by her side. Their love for one another was incredibly special and inspirational for everyone fortunate enough to have spent time around them.
While his favorite title was Paw Paw, Mike was also the President and Managing Partner of David’s Vacuums. He worked with David and Tom Oreck and family for over 49 years as he dedicated his professional life to helping build a strong, successful company. His career began in the parts department in on February 4, 1972 and he continued to grow with the company. His success was a true inspiration to countless individuals. He was a gifted leader and teacher with a passion for building great teams, motivating people, and always showing gratitude and thankfulness for all of the daily successes. Mike loved to challenge others, creating friendly competition to grow and increase sales and always keeping his focus on his people. Mike’s career is legendary and will long be remembered by so many individuals.
Mike was preceded in death by parents Harold “Skeets” and Audrey Rose Eiermann. Survived by loving wife, Carol Eiermann, daughter Dawn and her husband Jason Karns and his son Travis and his wife Jennifer Eiermann. Grandchildren Cooper, Spencer, Grady, Caroline, James and Julia. Brothers Tommy and wife Lois , Harold “Tuggy” and wife Joy, and Patrick and his wife Becky, his sister Sandra Duhe and her husband Gerald Duhe. Brother in laws Warren Ferlandy and wife Jacqueline, sister in law Diane Haug and her husband Robert, and Jeffrey Ferlandy. Also many cousins, nieces and nephews and friends and business partner and best friend Thomas Oreck.
Viewing will be held at 9:30am with a funeral mass for Michael beginning at 10:30am on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at St. Anne Catholic Church, 1111 S. Cherry St., Tomball, TX 77375.

A truly beautiful obituary. My heartfelt condolences to the Eiermann family.
I heard about Mike’s passing last week from the Corp office and was both stunned and saddened.
My little company, Signature Signs, had the blessing of working with Mike for almost 30 years, designing and providing retail signage for ORECK and now David’s Vacuums in Houston and across Texas.
I started my business when I turned 25 and was one of only 3 women in the custom sign industry at that time. Because I was young and female in a male dominated industry, many potential clients were dismissive, but certainly not Mike Eiermann, the wise professional!
He was friendly (sometimes tough) and always fair a great businessman who kept an eye on the numbers, but welcomed my design input for each location.
It saddens me that I probably never relayed to Mike how much it helped my confidence level at age 25 that he trusted us with his company’s work when just starting out and for so many years after. He remains on my Top 10 list as a favorite client out of the many hundreds of people I’ve worked with since then.
I’m honored to have had the opportunity of working with Mike Eiermann for such a long time, and may he Rest In Peace knowing that he left such a positive mark on so many.
