Marilyn Dropkin Obituary

Marilyn Dropkin of New Hartford, passed away Saturday, July 2, 2022. Marilyn was born in Pittsburgh, PA and was the daughter of the late Ruth and Harry Klein.

Marilyn devoted her life to her family and to her husband Bob's career. Bob often referred to her as the glue that kept the family close. He also said that she was the most loved and loving person he ever knew.

Marilyn is survived by the love of her life, her husband Bob; her children and their spouses, Stacy and Sean Cronin, Edward "Ted" Dropkin and Robin and David Dropkin, all of whom she was very proud of; and by her precious grandchildren, Stephanie Cronin, Kyle Cronin, Austin Dropkin, Madison Dropkin and Cody Dropkin. She is also survived by her brother, Melvyn Klein and his wife, Susan; a nephew, Steven Klein and his wife, Genie; a special cousin, Barry Klein and his wife, Terri; and by three special life long friends, Sue Klein, Carolee Burack and Sharon Block.

There will be a graveside service for the family on Thursday, July 7. Visitation hours are from 5-7 pm on Wednesday, July 6 at the Mark C. Bentz Funeral Service, Inc., 13 Oxford Road, New Hartford.
