To the Rubalcava family, I just learned of Manny's passing a couple of months ago or I would have reached out much sooner. It sincerely shook and saddened me. I had the privilege to work for and work with Manny at FSL. He trained, mentored, and most importantly befriended me. I learned a lot from him and he is one of the managers I have reported that truly made a difference and I was blessed to work for. He visited my house on a couple of occasions and met me in California once when my family visited Los Angeles.
One of my funniest recollections involved a voicemail message I accidentally left for him. I had a Branch Manager on the line and thought that I had hung up and proceeded to have a very animated conversation with the manager and Manny ended up hearing everything. He had a lot of fun with that and I am smiling right now as I write this.
So sad and shocked that he is gone. Knowing the impact he had on me, I can't even imagine his loss to the family.
I love you Manny....please meet me at the gate...I know you will have to sneak me in...but you have always had my back. Love you man.
