Larry was like a father to Stefanie and me. We spent much time together including many holidays, trips, church events, and with friends and family. He was a contributing member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral of Portland who volunteered for missions and served faithfully inspiring many as a good Christian. He mentored and sponsored me as a new AHEPA member. I was honored to pin him with his AHEPA Lifetime Membership Achievement Award for 50 years of service. He was a member of The Damiani, Stavrakas and Harris Families. I was fortunate to know him well while he resided in Portland. I thank God for forging our friendship and pray that he will be eternally remembered. I remember the stories of his childhood of how the brave people, his family of Achladocampo, Greece resisted Nazi domination and were savagely martyred. I pray for them today which we commemorate the 201 Anniversary of The Greek War of Independence. He was proud that his forefather served as a Captain to Kolokotronis. I remember his favorite stories about his businesses, The Bulls, concerts, music and movies. He especially loved his wife, sons, daughters-in-laws and grandchildren. My condolences to his family and friends outside of Portland. He never complained and had much patience. He is truly missed here for years. We will always remember our beloved Haralambos. ❤✝
