Juretta Peel Obituary

Juretta passed peacefully in her sleep the morning of August 17, 2021.  She had lived at Southwest Assisted living in Del Rio, Texas for the last 3 and a half years after spending a lifetime in and around Amherst, Texas.

Juretta was preceded in death by her son James Leslie Peel and her husband of over 60 years Homer Lawson Peel. She is survived by Daughter Darlene Williams of Medina, Texas, Son Michael Peel and wife Cyndi of Del Rio, Texas, Son Jay Peel of Amherst, Texas, sister Janetta Duncan of Amarillo, Texas, many nieces and nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held Friday, August 20, 2021, at Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield, Texas from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.  The Funeral Service will be held Saturday, August 21, 2021, at the Hillcrest Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 PM followed by the interment at Littlefield Memorial Park Cemetery.
