John Ward Obituary

So sorry to hear about John's passing. He was a good friend that would help us out whenever he could. He also would help my mom and dad as well, and they were good friends with John . My parents were Jerry and Linda Little. Dad passed in 2019 and Mom is still here and also sends her sympathy.

Oh, I am so sad to read of John's illness and passing. I'm sad for all who knew him, but happy to know that he is with his Lord and Savior. John was "the phone guy" for a company where I managed telecom for many years. Not sure what was bigger - his heart or his smile! When he walked this earth he was a very kindhearted man and I'm privileged to have known him. Looking forward to seeing him again one day, walking on the heavenly streets of gold! I'm asking God to comfort his family and loved ones with lots and lots of sweet, happy memories.

John was a nice guy; always cordial and easy to talk with. May he live on in your fond memories

John was always such a nice man. My family cared a lot about him as he was growing up was a welcome person at the store, skating rink or any other family adventures at Midway. I know he will be missed by everyone who loved him.

Great guy to work with and a good person

John was a good guy, we worked together at the phone company back when I first started. Prayers for him and his family.

So sorry for your loss. John was a good guy and worked hard. John was always pleasant to be around. I worked with John at Carolina Telephone at the beginning of my career there. I remember when John was studying to take the state test to acquire his license to be an electrician. John was so pleased that he passed on the first attempt. Again I am sorry for his loss. His memory loves till we meet again.

Mr. Ward was a kind man. He had a sense of humor when he did some work for us. He would ask my son if he wanted to go under the house and help him. We enjoyed getting to know him.

We started school together in the first grade and finished together twelve years later. John left us with a lot of wonderful memories including his dry humor. He made many friends and I am glad to be one of them. John has always been first class.

It has been many years since I last saw John. He always stuck in the back of my mind because he was a real gentleman. So kind and respectful to everyone. He and my brother worked together at Carolina Telephone Comany. To all his family, you are in my thoughts and prayers. May GOD wrap HIS arms around each of you and give you the comfort and peace so needed at this sad time. Love to each and everyone of you.

Work with John many years at Carolina telephone John was always neat with his work and insisted on it being done properly I admired that in John I am sorry for the family John was truly a good friend he treated people with dignity and respect the community lost a fine man

I knew John for many years, went to school with him at Bath High School. He was a good electrician and a nice man. My condolence to his family.

John and I were born in the same hospital one day apart and have been neighbors about seventy of our eighty-one years. He was a good man, generous with his time and talents. He was a skilled electrician and a blessing to his community. Prayers for his family.
