Naples, FL - John Anthony Pellot (also known as "JP"), 42, of Naples, FL was called home by Our Heavenly Father on April 19, 2022. He was born on December 13, 1979 in Mayaguez, PR to Juan Alberto and Marie (Gudzinskas) Pellot. John and his beloved companion, Audrey Green, were excited to welcome beautiful identical twin girls into the world in July.
John graduated from Holy Cross High School in 1997. He graduated from UConn in 2002 with a B.A. in Business Administration (Finance). His first job was at Cintas in Branford, CT. He studied hard and passed the Series 7 and Series 66 exams required to become a stockbroker on Wall Street. He worked for Olympia Management, Tiger Financial, Columbus Advisory Group, and TD Ameritrade in NYC. In 2010 he moved to FL where he worked as an accountant and auditor for the state of Florida. He also worked at E-Trade and Sandy Morris Financial & Estate Planning Services in Tampa, FL. At the time of his passing, he was working at Angi.
He excelled at his many jobs, was fun-loving, kind-hearted, and had a very likable personality. Above all, he loved his family dearly. John loved nature and animals. Most especially, he enjoyed going for walks on the beach with Audrey. He was always involved in sports since the age of 7. He played little league baseball and basketball for East Mountain in Waterbury, CT. He played football for Pop Warner, was a standout player (both defense and offense) at Holy Cross, and played college football for one year at IONA University. What he enjoyed the most was playing golf and bowling with his dad. He had great fun fishing with his dear Uncle Wayne and truly loved every moment they spent together.
Besides his parents, he is survived by three brothers: John Albert and Alvin Pellot of Isabela, PR and Luis Antonio of Dacula, GA; his Uncle Wayne Gudzinskas of Clermont, FL and two aunts and uncles from PR and his cousin, Lisa Gudzinskas of Clermont, FL. He is predeceased by his cousin, Michael Gudzinskas, He also leaves behind many cousins from PR, TX, and MA along with four nephews and two nieces from TX, PR, GA, and FL.

I was fortunate to become friends with John in high school and we lived together at UConn and both moved to New York City around the same time. John was an amazing person who made everyone around him laugh. We played basketball together and bonded over music and a shared sense of humor. I will forever be grateful for his friendship. My sincere condolences to his family.

I'm sad and shocked to hear of John's passing. We grew up across the street together on East Side Blvd, where we all spent many carefree days of doing sports, riding bikes and playing flashlight tag. He was a sweet guy with a kind soul. Sending love and prayers to his parents at this difficult time.
