JoAnn Grant Obituary

JoAnn (Bayless) Grant, 81, of Haskell, TX, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2022. A funeral service will be held at 2:00PM, Saturday, March 19, 2022, at the Eastside Baptist Church, Haskell, TX. Burial will follow services at the Willow Cemetery under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes. A visitation is planned from 6-7:00PM, Friday, March 18, 2022, at the funeral home, 304 N 2nd Street, Haskell, TX.

JoAnn was born October 30, 1940, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, to Lydia (Pruitt) Bayless and Hesser Bayless. She enjoyed doing any kind of crafts, she loved cooking and traveling. She was very organized and loved planning the family reunion.

She is survived by her husband, Dearl Grant; two sons, Jerry Grant and wife Marcia of Lewisville, and Mark Grant and wife Carla of Haskell; one grandson, Erik Grant and wife Jennifer of Lewisville, two granddaughters, Rachel Grant of Denton and Staci Rocha and husband Alex of Aubrey; one great grand daughter, Penelope Rocha of Aubrey and one great grandson Peyton Grant of Aubrey; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Lydia and Hesser Bayless and sister Geraldine Harlan.
