You were a great Uncle and have such fond memories of all our family get togethers with you and Aunt Billie. You were such fun to be around. Whenever I visited you I was always met with a hug and a warm smile and a little joke or two. You were kind, hospitable, loving, generous and a good business man. You provided for your family and loved your kids dearly and we all loved you very much. I'm very proud to have called you, My Uncle Jimmy! You will be forever in our hearts.

I had the privilege of serving with Jim Culver on the Mesquite City Council for several years. He was a true gentleman and very dedicated in doing every job that was best for the City. Jim did not hesitate to tell you how he felt on a subject and generally he was right. He was a good friend and he will be missed.

To the Culver family, our sincere condolences and prayers for comfort. Jimmy was able to visit many times with Charlotte (Culver) Smith (his niece) when she would visit Dallas or he was in town in Shreveport. They really kept in touch after Reggie passed away. She loved meeting Jimmy for lunch or dinner and told us of the fond memories that were shared about the Culver family. We met with him also on occasion and loved hearing them banter about things. Please know we are thinking of you during this time and that we have fond memories of Charlotte’s Uncle Jimmy. Love, the Charlotte Smith family: Eric and Mary Beth Smith, Les and Paula Smith
