Janice Joanne Drummer, 75, of Brick passed away at her residence on July 4, 2022. She was born in Brooklyn and lived in Staten Island before moving to Brick in 2017.
Janice was a Stock Records Clerk for E.F. Hutton in New York City for many years. She also volunteered working for elections.
Anyone fortunate enough to have known Janice knows that she selflessly thinks of others and is the first to offer her help. Always with a kind heart and creative nature she would make you smile when times seemed at their darkest. Her intentions were never cruel or misleading. Those who have been touched by her journey through life will mourn her loss. The person she was would not want us to be sad and would probably want to cheer us up.
I do not know how to do this. However, I am sure that she would want to thank everyone for making the last part of her journey the happiest in her life.
She was predeceased by her parents Salvatore and Eleanor Aiello and her brother John Aiello.
Surviving is her son Matthew Drummer; her brother Vincent Aiello; and four sisters, Rosemarie Valentine, Frances Kelly, Julia Yagos and Eleanor Wood.
Janice was an Aunt to many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Gathering will be held Saturday July 9, 2022, from 2:00pm-4:00pm at Colonial Funeral Home, 2170 Highway 88, Brick. Cremation will be private.

I use to work at EF Hutton back from 1968 to 1982 and had the pleasure of knowing Janice. We worked in different departments but some aspects of our work interacted and we got to know one another. I didn't know she passed away until I saw this.

When I remember you I will think of all the laughter and fun we had growing up. How we were always there for each other. When I think of you I will smile and feel you near me. Always with us, never far! Hod keep you in his arms!

Janice was such a wonderful person and a talented artist. She was more of an aunt/mom to me from the moment we met. We all love you and will miss you so dearly.

Sending our deepest sympathy for the loss of your mom Matthew. My sister was a woman full of life and so talented. You meant the world to her and she was so proud of the man you grew up to be. I will miss her contagious laugh and energy for helping others. We were the fortunate ones to have her in our lives. Love you Matthew. Aunt Julia
