James Middleton Obituary

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

Jim had a sweet soul that will be greatly missed. We pray that God comforts all that loved him in this time of great sorrow.

Jim truly was my dad's (Rick Dewar) best friend. Looking back on my childhood, I have so many great memories of Jim. Andrea and I are close in age and because of our dad's friendship, we got to spend a lot of really fun times together as kids. Many times over the years I would walk into my mom and dad's house and my dad would be yapping on the telephone with Jim (sometimes for a very long time, LOL). I think they talked to each other almost as much as teenage girls do. I know they spent a lot of time talking about MSU football. Through every season of life they were always there for each other and when we lost my dad, I thought about Jim often, knowing it was just as much his loss as it was ours. My heart is breaking for the Middleton family but I find a lot of comfort knowing that my dad and Jim are back together again and will remain best friends throughout eternity. RIP Jim.

Andrea and family, I'm very sorry for your loss. I met your father a couple times through significant events in your life and he was a wonderful person. I understood why you always spoke highly of him. You are in my prayers.

Jim and I were very good friends at fisher body both involved in local union we did some stripping together great guy honest funny and hard working think of him often in last 40 years hearts out to you and your

Jim will always be in my heart & prayers. It is with deep sympathy for your family today & always. As my high school sweetheart I will always cherish our times & memories together.

Jim was my lifetime friend. We met at Holy Redeemer School. We had lots of fun times in high school. We reconnected when we planned our 50th high school reunion. I will miss his phone calls in the middle of the night. He wanted to get out of the house and see his good high school buddies and reminisce basketball and football games. Jim told me about his love for his daughters and a proud grandpa. He missed his good friend,Rick. His life changed about 5 years. Jim was grateful his friendship with his former wife. So sorry . Rest In Peace, Jim. We will see each other again.

RIP my childhood friend who I always thought of as my big blonde brother because you spent so much time with my brother Mike at our house. Will always have happy memories of your contagious smile and laughter and your big heart.
