Holly McKay, age 59 of Hempstead, Texas passed away on August 18, 2021. She is preceded in death by her mother Sherry Smith; brother Brian Smith; grandson Xavier Galindo. She is survived by her father Richard Smith; husband BJ McKay; daughter Danielle McKay; brother Kelly Smith, Tommy Smith; grandchildren Bentley Post, Isaac Galindo, Justin Ashley; as well as many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
Holly is in the care of Canon Funeral Home.

Holly allowed us into her house even though she didn't know us, that was four of us, plus two dogs and a cat during the hurricane, I have never forgotten her and BJ' s kindness, Holly may God's face smile on you and say Hi to Marilyn.
