I worked with Greg briefly as a young policeman in the 80’s. I remember we shared the same interest in weather and politics. Like all policemen in a large department like the LAPD, we take our own career paths and unintentionally lose contact with old partners. My condolences to your family Greg, and Godspeed.

I always liked Greg. When he would come to Vegas to visit it was never a dull moment. He and Thor always made me laugh. I can imagine him now, spending his time in the next life, with Thor by his side. Greg saw how terrible the world can be while he was on the force. Yet he always seemed to have a smile on his face. He was a man who lived how he wanted. He was a man who knew his regrets but never let them hold him down. I hope the family can remember the good times and continue to pass along his stories.

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always. Greg was very influential in my life growing up as a teenager. I have several memories of him over the years. He was always willing to teach me how to do something, always willing to help and listen to an issue. He was very involved with his children and grandchildren. He will be missed. RIP Greg...
