Gad Collins, Jr. Obituary

Gad Franklin Collins Jr. was born on March 07, 1960, to the late Gad Sr. & Lizzie Collins of Quincy, Florida. He was educated in the public school system of Gadsden County where afterward he started his career in construction. Next to his family, Gad’s love was fishing. He was the best fisherman (in his voice) and always would find the time to go fishing until his health started to decline.  


Gad Franklin Collins Jr. was preceded in death by his parents: Gad Sr. & Lizzie Collins; brothers: Michael, Larry Sr., and Willie James Collins; sisters: Angel Collins-Mason; nephew: Roy Earl Conyers; niece: Shameika Danielle Presha and in-law parents: Charlie Jr. and Arthur Mae Sweet.


Gad Franklin Collins Jr. was married to Mary Ann Collins. Their love blossomed for 45 wonderful years, until he departed this earthly life on July 21, 2022, at home with his wife and other loved ones. To their union, four sons were raised.


Gad Franklin Collins jr. leaves to cherish his memories to his Wife: Mary Ann Collins of Midway, Florida; Sons: Quintis Collins of Syracuse, New York, Antuan Belvis of San Diego, California, Gad Collins III and Travis Collins of Midway, Florida; Goddaughter: Chanita (Rashema) Andrews of Tallahassee, Florida; Brothers: Bishop Steve Collins Sr. (Gail) of Grand Ridge, Florida, Elder Wayne Collins (Beverly) and Kelvin Collins of Midway Florida; Sisters: Terry Ritchie of Syracuse, New York, Carrie Wotten (David), Debra House, Paula Collins of Quincy, Florida, and Sabrina Collins of Tallahassee, Florida; as well as Grandchildren and a host of others sorrowing family and friends.
