Mulberry: Dr. Stacy Dale Russell, age 59, entered Heaven on 2/20/2022.
He was born in Xenia, Ohio on May 24, 1962. He lived in Bellbrook, Ohio most of his life. He graduated from Bellbrook High School and was the captain of the football team. He was recently inducted into the Bellbrook Golden Eagle Gridiron Greats Hall of Fame. He graduated from the Ohio State University in 1992 with a bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy and from Boston University in 2007 with a Doctor of Physical Therapy. He was a Master Martial Artist and in 2007 he was inducted into the USA International Black Belt Hall of Fame.
He moved to Mulberry, Florida in 2015, with his loving wife Laura where they lived with their dog Minnie and parrots Amadeus and Alex. He loved football, practicing martial arts, working out, gardening, swimming, the beach and hanging out in the hot tub.
He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence (Jake) Russell and Elizabeth (Pepper) (Mason) Russell of Bellbrook, Ohio.
He leaves behind his wife of 24 years, Laura Russell, his stepchildren Daniel Homer, Caleb Homer and Grace Robinson. He also leaves behind his brother Randy Russell and sister Candy Whitton. Also, nieces, nephews and other family members as well as countless friends.
A service will be held in the future in Bellbrook, Ohio at the Bellbrook Cemetery. We ask that any donations be sent in his name to a no-kill animal rescue or a veteran's organization.
Stacy will be missed by his family and friends. He will always live in our hearts.

I'm just now learning about Stacy's death. He was my Physical therapy Doctor and trained me through a debilitating injury to my spine and then to excel at martial arts. Such a beautiful and kind man. He is missed.
